\nStrong grasp of data modelling and source-of-truth design across multiple services.

\nExperience finding and fixing performance bottlenecks.

\nHands-on with observability: Datadog metrics, traces and monitors, monitors-as-code (Terraform) and reducing alert noise.

\nHas shipped changes with feature flags and staged rollouts, and used analytics (e.g. Amplitude) to judge whether a release succeeded.

\nWrites clear technical docs, such as design docs, runbooks and investigation write-ups.

\nNice to have: payroll, tax or fintech domain knowledge; event-driven systems (Kafka); careful handling of PII.

Final compensation is determined based on experience, expertise, and role alignment. Most candidates are hired within the middle of the range, with the upper end reserved for those bringing exceptional depth, impact, and immediate autonomy.
