\nManage state programmatic work and campaigns
\nLead the execution of statewide advocacy campaigns
\nSupport coalition work, including managing working groups or project groups within coalitions, organizing meetings, coordinating actions, and ensuring effective communication among coalition members
\nOversee election protection program, ensuring effective communication and coordination of outreach efforts to Common Cause Arizona members and Election Protection Arizona Coalition members to safeguard voting rights and the electoral process, as well as all relevant responsibilities in managing the program on behalf of the coalition
\nLead policy research, analysis, and the identification of opportunities for policy proposals to advance Common Cause’s statewide goals
\nDraft, edit, and disseminate policy briefs, reports, and advocacy materials to inform and engage decision-makers and stakeholders
\nMonitor state and local legislative developments, track relevant bills, and provide strategic guidance to ensure timely responses to policy opportunities and threats
\nExecute lobbying efforts for designated legislation, including drafting and managing testimony, public comment, and other advocacy tools

Outreach and stakeholder engagement
\nBuild and maintain strong relationships with community organizations, partners, and members to strengthen Common Cause’s network and extend our outreach
\nIn collaboration with the State Director and Election Protection Organizers, execute outreach campaigns to educate the public on priority issues and encourage active participation in advocacy efforts
\nLead Arizona's implementation of Common Cause's One Million Conversations campaign by mobilizing and training volunteer conversation hosts to engage neighbors in values-driven dialogue, and track outcomes to drive state and national organizing strategy
\nRepresent Common Cause at community events and coalition meetings to strengthen public awareness and mobilize support
\nCoordinate digital and social media campaigns to engage members and stakeholders, ensuring messaging aligns with Common Cause’s values and goals

Provide fundraising and advisory board support

\nCommon Cause is looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented and collaborative Senior Manager, Executive Operations to join our Office of the President.
\n\n
The Senior Manager will play a key role in ensuring our President is able to focus their time on the highest impact work, managing the President’s inbox, schedule and travel, as well as coordinating complex and large-scale events like our National Governing Board meetings.
\n\n
This is a full-time role reporting to the Chief of Staff; this role is based in Washington, DC, with an expectation to come into our DC office at least three days per week; this role will require being on-call, including for occasional weekend and weekday evening work. We hope our new Senior Manager Executive Operations will start in August.

Note that as this role is based in Washington, DC, there would be a 3% increase on the offered salary as part of our geographic adjustment.
