Maintain the performance and reliability of building systems across Allied’s portfolio. As an Assistant Building Operator, you will perform a broad range of building operations and maintenance duties to ensure our properties operate efficiently, safely and to a high standard of physical quality.

Reporting to the Manager, Technical Services, you will collaborate across our organization to address both the planned and unplanned operational needs of our buildings and support the continued performance of Allied’s portfolio.

Maintain the performance and reliability of building systems across Allied’s portfolio. As a Building Operator, you will perform a broad range of building operations and maintenance duties to ensure our properties operate efficiently, safely and to a high standard of physical quality.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Technical Services, you will collaborate across our organization to address both the planned and unplanned operational needs of our buildings and support the continued performance of Allied’s portfolio.

Manage the planning, coordination, and delivery of construction projects across Allied’s occupied portfolio. As a Manager, Construction, you will oversee a range of tenant improvements and capital projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard of quality.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Construction, you will collaborate with internal teams, consultants, contractors, and tenants to lead project execution from design through to close-out. Your work will play a key role in maintaining operational continuity, enhancing the built environment, and supporting the overall performance and long-term value of the portfolio.

Project Management:

Coordinate with the consultant team to ensure drawings, specifications and contract documents are prepared accurately and in a timely manner.\n
Lead and/or assist with preparation, review and formal award of tenders.\n
Manage multiple concurrent projects (typically 10–15 at a time), balancing scope, timelines, and budgets in a fast-paced environment.\n
Attend and participate in construction and site meetings for assigned projects as required.\n

Manage the full accounting cycle for a portfolio of commercial properties. As a Property Accountant, you will perform a broad range of accounting responsibilities to ensure accurate financial reporting and support informed financial decision-making.

Reporting to the Manager, Property Accounting, you will collaborate across the organization to support property-level accounting, financial reporting and operational insights, contributing to the financial performance of Allied’s portfolio.

Oversee the performance, reliability, and operational standards of a portfolio of properties while leading a team of Building Operators. As Supervisor, Technical Services, you will perform a broad range of technical oversight, team leadership, and operational management responsibilities to ensure building systems are maintained to a high standard, service levels are met, and tenant needs are addressed effectively.

Ensure each Building Operator is cross trained on all the buildings in their respective pool of buildings.\n

Ensure Building Operators present an acceptable appearance while performing the duties of their position, including being in full uniform while on duty.\n\n

Building Standards:

Collaborate and communicate regularly with the Property Management team to ensure department objectives are met.\n
Work closely with suppliers/contractors to ensure that all required services are performed.\n
Ensure service contracts are enforced, service levels are achieved, and contractors are adequately supervised when on site.\n
Monthly inspections of all properties to achieve higher building standards in conjunction with the Property Manager.\n
Conduct routine inspections on all site mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems and related equipment including but not limited to water treatment, boilers, heat pumps, roof top units, air conditioners, on a regular basis to ensure equipment is maintained in good working order.\n
Yardi FM and Tenant requests requirements: audit response times monthly on all tenant and preventive maintenance requests, ensure all services performed are recorded in the system, and review on regular basis all relevant reports, make recommendations and deliver solutions to improve the service level.\n
Ensure all tenant concerns are addressed in a timely and professional manner and assist in solving issues as required. Follow up with the tenants to ensure they are satisfied with the work.\n
Execute all preventative maintenance tasks as prescribed on all equipment and systems and modify tasks and information as required.\n
Audit all daily/weekly/monthly logs and ensure readings are properly maintained, look for any irregularities and discrepancies and take appropriate action to ensure safe and efficient operation of all equipment/systems.\n
Work closely with Property Management in the preparation of building operating budgets and lead the preparation of capital budgets for all buildings in the portfolio.\n
Comply with company policies and standard operating procedures and ensure building standards and efficiencies are maintained.\n
Work closely with Property Management and Development to liaise with technical consultants and contractors on tenant improvement work, capital improvements and/or base building projects. This includes timely turnover and preparation of vacant premises.\n
Manage the procurement of all supplies and services required for property/portfolio.\n
Ensure all health, safety and security procedures are adhered to and areas of concern are reported to the appropriate parties in a timely manner to limit exposure to liability and loss.\n
Ensure that all fire protection equipment & systems are inspected & tested at recommended intervals for proper operation to meet legislative requirements and ensure tenant and customer safety.\n
Ensure seasonal building requirements and services such as ice and snow clearing, salting, seasonal decorating, and grounds keeping are met. Ensure that work is carried out, appropriately and according to the service agreements.\n

Purpose

Lead the Property Accounting team responsible for Allied’s national portfolio of urban workspace. As Vice President, Property Accounting, you will provide strategic and operational leadership for the property accounting function while supporting accurate reporting, informed decision-making and strong financial performance across the portfolio.
\n
\n
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you will collaborate closely with teams across Finance and Accounting, Leasing, Operations and Construction. This role is well suited to a collaborative and technically strong accounting leader who is passionate about developing people, strengthening processes and building high-performing teams.
